What started as a free community initiative—supporting homebound seniors and disabled veterans who were afraid to leave their homes—quickly grew into a trusted lifeline. From those early days, our mission has remained unwavering: to provide reliable, dignified, and heartfelt assistance to Seniors and Disabled Veterans who need an extra hand managing everyday tasks.
Brigitte’s commitment to service is deeply rooted in her upbringing. Inspired by her grandmother’s teachings on philanthropy, community care, and the power of small acts of kindness, she began volunteering at age 15 as a Candy Striper at Johnston‑Willis Hospital in Richmond, VA. Those early experiences shaped a lifelong devotion to helping others.
Today, fueled by increasing demand and a meaningful career transition, Errands For Grandparents has evolved into a full‑service small business—proudly carrying forward Nana’s legacy of A Helping Hand with a Heart.
